PAOLA BONETTO Flute, Vocals Paola Bonetto is a native of the beautiful city of Genoa, Italy. 'When people first see me, they usually think I am Dutch or Austrian,' she says, although she's not sure whether that's a compliment or not. Paola came to USC in 1998 as part of a 2-year visiting program in connection with her quest for a Ph.D in Computer Science. She completed her Ph.D thesis before she returned to Italy in December 2000, thus fulfilling the words of one of her ancestors: 'veni, vidi, scripsi.'
